Hey everyone!

I hope you’re having a blessed day as you read this. If you’ve not been able to visit with us at CCC-Clarksville lately, we MISS YOU! Don’t forget, we have our weekly sermons and Bible studies available as online downloads now! You can listen in just as if you were with us (Of course, we’d much rather have you join us)! We’ve got all of our weekly sermons since March 25th online and ready for you to download.

This past Sunday’s sermon was “Freedom with a Purpose.” Scripture teaches that “where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” Find out ways we can apply that freedom!

So if you’re not able to visit with us on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 PM for whatever reason, we invite you to listen to the podcast at http://podcast.christiancommunityclarksville.com/. We’re continuing a special Bible study series on the book of Romans right now that you don’t want to miss! So far, we have three weeks of studys that cover chapters 1 through 6. Next week, we’ll start on chapter 7, so you don’t want to miss it!

So stop by and take a few minutes or just download and listen on your own time. Of course, it’s completely free!

And while you’re at it, take a moment to join the all-new message boards and get in on the conversations or start one! We’re here for YOU. The forum link is www.christiancommunityclarksville.com/forums.

Do remember that you’re always welcome to visit with us at 4:00 PM at the Riverview Inn every Sunday afternoon. No matter how much you think you don’t fit in, you’re welcome with us. At CCC-Clarksville, the grace of God is for everyone… and we mean EVERYONE.

We’re stocking up on Bibles! If you’d like to help by donating any (new or used) Bibles to the church (preferably NIV), please feel free to drop them by on any Sunday afternoon at The Riverview Inn. We want to make sure that the Holy Scriptures are available to anyone who wants them. And if you need one, let me know and I’ll send you one.

Let’s also remember our sister church in Nashville, Christ Community Church of Nashville. Pastor Bob McGee and the congregation there are really doing a great job in reaching out to the Nashville area, so let’s keep them in prayer!

Other prayer requests:

Dennis: Health and back issues
Curtis: Finals week
Ryan: Wisdom and breakthroughs
Sandy: Finals week
Rev. Jay Neely’s daughter needs plenty of prayer support

Let’s lift up all of our dear friends and loved ones in prayer. Remember, it’s not the prayer that works, but the One who ANSWERS our prayers!

Join us for Nashville Pride this year! We’ll have a booth at Nashville Pride, so stop by! If you’d like to help us print brochures and flyers to pass out, please consider a gift to support the work. Let’s get the word out! We can’t do it without YOU.

Until next time, keep pressing on!

David W. Shelton
Pastor, Christian Community Church of Clarksville
