David W. Shelton is a writer, speaker, publisher, business owner, and activist in the Clarksville, TN area. As a child, he would be known to “skip to the tune of a piccolo in an entirely different band,” and he’s been skipping ever since!
As a Christian, I question EVERYTHING… and it’s a good thing. Here’s why: when we demand or require facts for our faith, it ceases to be faith. Faith… doesn’t require evidence; in fact Scripture says that it IS evidence.
So yes, I question everything — even the Bible. I don’t have to have to believe that it is “infallible” in order to follow its teachings or to worship the Christ it reveals. I even pick and choose how I follow its teachings. We all do it. Some of us are just a little more willing to be honest about it.
